Musanada, the Abu Dhabi General Services Company, announced on Sunday that it would commence with the construction of the Shakhbout Girls School project in early November, according to WAM, the Emirates News Agency.

The $35 million project marks the conclusion of Phase VI of the future school construction initiative in Abu Dhabi, which aims to keep up with new developments in the educational sector, according to Musanada.

The school, scheduled to be completed by May 2018, is situated on a 50,912 square meter land plot and will consist of a 3-storey building, accommodating 2,100 students and sporting 70 classrooms as well as other necessities and amneties such as laboratories, a sports hall and a swimming pool.
