The 15th of May City Authority is offering construction tenders for a commercial mall on an area of 120 acres, as part of the fourth phase of the social housing project next month, reported Al Borsa.
The Authority has prepared documents for the tenders, while the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) has assigned Montasar Group for Engineering to design the project, which aims to serve the residents of the area, according to Tamam Gerguis, Head of the 15th of May City Authority.
The total cost of the project amounts to EGP 250 million, and it will be finalized within three years upon assigning the construction works to one of the contractors. The Authority will receive the first phase of the project, built on 50 acres, in 18 months.
Further developments has also taken place in the city, including the development of 50% of a water treatment plant by the Arab Contractors Company that will be completed in 2017, according to NUCA’s official website.
