Nakheel Properties will launch sales of Palm 360 and Ibn Battuta residences in Dubai during the first quarter of 2017, according to Gulf News.
Both of the towers are residential projects with a hospitality component. With the development costs of both still being finalized, Nakheel already named Avani as hotel operator for the Ibn Battuta residences.
Ali Rashid Lootah, Chairman of Nakheel Properties, stated that the company was still looking for a contractor for the Palm 360, claiming there was “lots of interest to be the hospitality partner at the Palm 360.”
Further, Lootah also stated that Nakheel would achieve growth in 2016. The company had previously recorded AED 4.38 billion in 2015.
The Ibn Battuta residences are scheduled to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2019 and will contain 48 floors, according to Nakheel. The Palm 360 project is expected to finish mid-2020 and will include 110 hotel rooms, as well as nearly 300 apartments and penthouses.
