Nakheel, a Dubai-based developer, has started construction work on a 20-tower community located at Deira Islands that measures on 15.3 square km waterfront city in Dubai, UAE, reported Trade Arabia.
The Deira Islands Boulevard which costs AED 5 billion consists of 16 residential building, two hotels and two serviced apartment complexes and is expected to fulfill the emirate’s 2021 tourism vision.
The project will also be surrounded by Deira mall that is considered a leisure for shopping and dining destination. The project will consist of 2900 apartments and townhouses offered for lease and 1000 hotel rooms and serviced apartments.
Deira Islands Boulevard is expected to contain 1.7 million square feet of green, communal parkland featuring landscaped gardens, walkways, sports area, and other facilities, stated Gulf Construction.
The 16 residential towers will accommodate 2600 of one- two-and three-bedroom apartments and 256 townhouses and will all span four cluster as each contains a swimming pool, retail podium, restaurants and services.
