Assem El Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, follows up on the implementation position of the various projects in the NAC, including the Central Business District (CBD), Capital Central Park, R3 residential district “Capital Residence”, R5 residential district “New Garden City”, and others, Invest-Gate reports.
El Gazzar explains that the glass facades work of many towers in the CBD is being completed, in parallel with the implementation of the interior finishes, noting that CBD has 20 towers with diverse uses, including the 400-m iconic tower, which is the highest tower in Africa, and the project is being implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Housing, represented by the New Urban Communities Authority, and the Chinese company (CSCEC).
Moreover, the implementation of the Central Park project in the NAC reached about 79%, as the largest central park in the Middle East and the second-largest park in the world and spans over 1,000 acres and extends across more than 10 km and provides entertainments areas with international standards.
Additionally, the R3 residential district “Capital Residence” spans over 1,016 acres with 8 neighborhoods and includes 24,130 housing units, distributed as 697 residential buildings with 19,944 housing units and 328 villas with 328 housing units and 157 townhouses with 624 housing units, and 64 mixed residential buildings with 2,560 housing units and 151,360 sqm of commercial and administrative, in addition to 9 mixed-use buildings with 674 housing units, besides very advanced implementation rates in many units as well as a number of service projects have been completed.
On the other hand, the R5 residential district “The New Garden City” covers an area of 885 acres with 22,466 housing units, between apartments, mixed housing, villas, Townhouses and Twin Houses.
