NUCA Offers 345 Plots in Public Land Tender

The New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) will offer 345 plots of land in new cities in a public land tender, through the one-stop shop system, reported Al Borsa News.

The offered pieces will be auctioned over two tenders. The first tender will feature 226 plots of land with areas ranging from 500 to 91,000 square meters in 22 new cities.

The land is earmarked for the establishment of service activities, including administrative, commercial buildings, clubs, medical centers, schools, universities, and gas stations.

The second tender will offer 119 plots of land in social housing districts in 17 new cities, with areas ranging between 405 square meters up to 17,700 square meters. The land is dedicated for services for residents of the project.

Estimated revenues from the two tenders are EGP 4.7 billion, out of which EGP 3.5 billion is for the land service tender and EGP 1.2 billion of land is in the social housing district.

The tender is offered through the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI).

Moreover, NUCA announced two additional land tenders through the one-stop shop for land to be used for integrated urban development. It includes 64 land plots in 20 new cities, with areas ranging from 3.5 acres up to 106 acres.

The second land tender is for 44 pieces of land with a total size of 411,400 square meters, earmarked for services in the Dar Misr middle-income housing project. Land plots range from 930 square meters up to 930,000 square meters in eight new cities.
