GV Development, the general developer of Tarboul City in Giza, signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Egis Company for engineering consultancy and project management, Invest-Gate reports.
Th cooperation creates a new partnership between both companies in many real estate projects owned by GV Development in the fields of real estate development, hospitality, and real estate asset management. Egis ranks first in France and sixth in the Middle East, according to ENR – Engineering New Records.
Sherif Hamouda, chairman of GV, expresses his pleasure to cooperate with Egis, which has extensive experience in engineering consultancy services and project management in all engineering sectors. Hamouda clarifies that assigning Egis for Tarboul project reflects the project’s advantages, as the first sustainable smart industrial city in Egypt.
For his part, Sameh Atallah, CEO of Egis Egypt, states, “This partnership is the beginning of successful cooperation that positively affects the Egyptian economy.” Additionally, signing the deal comes in line with the vision of the two companies to find solutions for a green and sustainable future worldwide.
It is worth mentioning that Egis is an international company in consulting, construction engineering, and transportation services. The company also works in more than 100 countries with more than 17,000 employees, extends its activities in around 13 countries in the Middle East, and completes more than 500 projects in the region.
As for GV Development, it owns many mega projects, such as White Sand North Coast, Times Square in Port Said, and Tarboul industrial city in Giza.
