Set to open on October 29th, Mall of Qatar, which will include 500 shops and 7,000 underground and surface-level car parks, is expected to receive 20 million customers, Trade Arabia reported.

“When you visit the MOQ premises, you immediately feel the positive energy emanating from every corner of the mall – and the momentum will continue for the next 100 days,” General Manager of Mall of Qatar Rony Mourani said.

“We are now getting to know our tenants even better, and they are as excited as we are about the impending launch in October. Collectively, we look forward to welcoming visitors for the entire MOQ experience,” Managing Director of Mall of Qatar Shem Krey said.

The mall is due to offer entertainment, theatrical sound and water features, and a five-star hotel named Curio.

Last June, the management of the hotel arranged a red-carpet event to welcome tenants and shop owners as part of the mega-project, according to The Peninsula Qatar.
