Badya City, Environment Ministry Raise Awareness of Go Green Initiative

Ministry of Environment, in collaboration with Palm Hills Development’s Badya City project, launches an awareness campaign for the presidential environment initiative “Go Green”, Invest-Gate reports.

The initiative aims to raise environmental awareness and encourage citizens to preserve the environment and natural resources to ensure their sustainability for future generations.

The Badya’s campaign is launched in tandem with hosting the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27) in Sharm El-Sheikh.

Badya continues its support of the promotion of sustainability through its participation in campaigns of the environment ministry’s campaigns to preserve the environment and remove 2 tons of waste from the Nile River and the Red Sea.

Another campaign is also launched to recycle waste to design artworks by some young artists that reflect the Egyptian spirit and culture to be exhibited in COP27.

Yasmin Fouad, Minister of Environment, stresses the importance of the private sector’s role in contributing to awareness programs and campaigns for the Go Green presidential initiative.
