El-Gazzar Leads Arab Counterparts in Visit to NAC

Assem El-Gazzar, Minister of Housing and President of the 39th session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Housing and Reconstruction (CAMHR) accompanies his Arab counterpart ministers and heads of Arab delegates on a visit to projects implemented in the New Administrative Capital, Invest-Gate reports.

The visit comes as a part of the events of the second day of the 7th Arab Housing Conference “Towards Smart Sustainable Cities that Achieve Quality of Life”.

El-Gazzar starts the visit by the Central Business Districts (CBD) in NAC, including the twin towers.

The minister gives a brief account of the CBD which hosts 20 towers including the 400m Iconic Tower.

He says that 60% of the components of building materials in the CBD are manufactured locally, adding that the project employs 16,000 workers, including 12,000 Egyptians.

El-Gazzar, alongside his Arab counterparts, visit the highest point in Africa, the observation deck on the 74th floor of the Iconic Tower.

He gives a detailed demonstration of NAC, including most of the project’s first phase, which spans 40,000 feddans and includes multiple housing districts and 7 international universities.

For their part, Arab housing and reconstruction ministers praise the NAC projects.

Furthermore, El-Gazzar concludes the visit with the residential districts, the government district, and the Parliament Building.
