Turkish company, Anel Mepa was awarded a QAR 242 million ($ 66.5 million) letter of conditional  award  from main contractor FCC-Yuksel-Archirodon-Petroserv JV, for the Red Line of the Doha Metro project in Qatar, Trade Arabia reported.

The award includes building automation, management, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) contract for the Red Line of the project.

Anel Mepa’s scope will include heating and cooling, ventilation and air-conditioning, plumbing, fire protection and alarm, as well as building automation and management, testing and commissioning and electrical panel systems and lighting automation works for the Red Line South Elevated and At Grade Project

The work is due to be completed in the last quarter of 2017, as part of Qatar Integrated Railway project.
