Minister of Housing Assem El-Gazzar holds a meeting with real estate developers to discuss the challenges that the sector is currently facing, Invest-Gate reports.

The meeting, which was attended by officials from the Ministry and the New Urban Communities Authority, aims to develop solutions to overcome these obstacles and make appropriate decisions.

During the meeting, El-Gazzar acknowledges the demands that the real estate developers had previously submitted to the Ministry earlier this year.

The ministry studies these demands and proposals to find the best approach that would benefit the state and the developers while maintaining this vital economic activity that provides numerous job opportunities and contributes to development plans, El-Gazzar notes.

Furthermore, he reiterates the housing ministry’s commitment to working with all real estate developers and receiving their opinions, ideas, and proposals to address the challenges that the sector is facing.

El-Gazzar highlights that the Ministry aims to find solutions that guarantee the continuation of work in this important sector, which serves as an engine for economic development.

It is worth noting that the real estate sector in Egypt has been facing various challenges, including the high cost of construction materials, currency devaluation, and inflation.
