Assem El-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, reviewed the progress of various projects being implemented in October Gardens City during his inspection visit, Invest-Gate reports.

The meeting was attended by ministry officials, the Social Housing Fund and Real Estate Financing Support CEO, and officials from the New Urban Communities Authority.

During the visit, the Minister directed issuing letters to citizens’ allocated housing units under the Housing for All Egyptians presidential initiative – the low-income segment.

The letters urged them to swiftly take possession of their units following their contractual commitments to occupy them permanently and regularly, in line with the Social Housing Law and Real Estate Financing Support.

El-Gazzar listened to an explanation of the executive status of the projects by Mohamed Mostafa, Head of the October Gardens City Development Authority.

Mostafa clarified that the number of residential units completed and under construction in the city had reached around 167,000 units, with various housing projects, of which more than 137,000 units are part of the Housing for All Egyptians presidential initiative – the low-income segment.

Also, Mostafa presented an overview of the city’s projects, noting that 162 service projects (schools, nurseries, health units, commercial markets, youth centers, playgrounds, and police stations) have been completed, or are currently under construction.

Moreover, the design work for the general hospital in the city is nearing completion, alongside efforts to improve and upgrade the main road axes, facilities, and investment opportunities.

El-Gazzar stressed the commitment to the deadlines for completing various projects, ensuring the highest quality.
