Real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department recorded over AED 23.1 bn during the current week, Invest-Gate reports.

The department registered 2,544 property transfers with a total value of AED 7.1 bn, including 183 land transfers worth AED 1.33 bn and 2,361 apartment and villa transfers worth 5.77 bn.

The most significant land transfers were valued at AED 93 mn in the Dubai Maritime City, followed by a transfer worth AED 76 mn in the Palm Jumeirah area, and another transfer worth AED 64 mn in Al Barsha South Second.

In terms of the number of transfers, the Airport City area ranked first with 51 transfers worth AED 182 mn, followed by Al Hebiah Fifth with 24 transfers worth AED 59 mn, and third, in Saih Shuaib 1 with 19 transfers worth AED 33 mn.

Regarding the most significant apartment and villa transfers, a transfer worth AED 65 mn in the Palm Jumeirah area topped the list, followed by a transfer worth AED 57 mn in the same area, and finally, a transfer worth AED 54 mn also in the Palm Jumeirah area.

The Commercial Gulf area topped the list in terms of the number of apartment and villa transfers with 280 transfers worth AED 458 mn, followed by Al Barsha South Fourth with 207 transfers worth AED 239 mn, and thirdly, in Al Yufrah 1 with 167 transfers worth AED 569 mn.

Mortgages recorded a value of AED 15.75 bn, including 94 land mortgages worth AED 14.13 bn and 470 villa and apartment mortgages worth AED 1.62 bn. The most significant mortgages were in the Jebel Ali Industrial First area, valued at AED 14 bn, and another in the Commercial Gulf area, worth AED 442 mn.

As for donations, 121 donations were recorded worth AED 300.99 mn, with the most significant in the Al Merkad area worth AED 73.49 mn, and another in the Al Safa Second area worth AED 40 mn.
