New Cairo Showcases Projects to Groom Next-Gen City Leaders

New Cairo is hosting assistant agency heads from other cities to share experiences overseeing national projects and prepare the next generation for leadership roles, Invest-Gate reports.

The group toured presidential housing initiatives, and water and waste facilities with New Cairo Authority Chief Abdel Raouf El-Ghaity, himself a former assistant.

He outlined the city agency’s role and answered queries, advising assistants on improving community services. New Cairo assistants Ahmed Abu Donia and Reham Hassan then reviewed ongoing road, utility and residential work.

The delegation inspected the Third Settlement project comprising 5,328 homes ranging from 90-120 sqm under President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s initiative to provide quality, income-scaled housing.

They also visited the water treatment plant and sewage facility operated by Orasqualia.

At the tour’s end, visiting assistants from new cities praised work quality and cooperation from New Cairo Authority officials in organizing project site visits. The initiative aims to strengthen services across communities by cultivating future management.
