Egypt’s Housing Authority Participates in Construction Championship

Waleed El-Baroudi, Head of Egypt’s General Authority for Construction & Housing Cooperatives (CHC), took part in the third World Construction Championship in St. Petersburg, Russia, Invest-Gate reports.

The tournament, held under President Vladimir Putin, saw Tarboul Industrial City nominated as one of the world’s largest projects. The authority is developing Tarboul with GV Investment.

El-Baroudi participated in panels on mega-projects and construction industry development.

The event showcases building expertise and technologies

Furthermore, El-Baroudi expressed appreciation for showcasing Tarboul, noting that the city reflects Egypt’s sustainable development and supports innovation in clean industries, providing advanced infrastructure for investors.

Located on 109 mn sqm in Giza, Tarboul is Egypt’s largest smart industrial city, near transportation. It aims to attract clean energy, green hydrogen and EV firms.
