IWG, a global leader in flexible office space solutions renowned for brands like Spaces and Regus, has made a significant move to amplify its presence in Egypt and advance its ambitious growth strategy, Invest-Gate reports.

The company recently unveiled plans for fifteen new locations across Cairo and surrounding areas. This development aligns with the appointment of Marc Descrozaille as the new regional CEO of IWG for the Middle East and Africa.

In his role, Descrozaille will play a pivotal role in fortifying the presence of IWG’s Regus, Spaces, and Signature brands throughout the region. Furthermore, his leadership aims to foster collaborations with property owners, facilitating the opening of multiple IWG centers across the Middle East and Africa.

Moreover, the announcement comes on the heels of IWG’s historic achievement this August, as it recorded its highest-ever half-year revenue in its 34-year history. This remarkable growth is attributed to the widespread adoption of the hybrid working model by companies of all scales worldwide.

The surge in demand has led to adding 612 new locations globally from January to September 2023, taking IWG’s total locations close to the 4,000 mark. Members can conveniently access these workspaces through the IWG app in over 120 countries.

Furthermore, in continuation of their expansion efforts, IWG inaugurated the Regus Arabella Plaza in March 2023. Building on this success, the company is set to add four more locations across various IWG brands in partnership with Arabella.

Notably, the upcoming Regus Enawalks New Cairo, slated to open in July 2024, will enjoy a prime location within one of Cairo’s prominent shopping centers. Offering a plethora of amenities within arm’s reach, this workspace is poised to cater to the diverse needs of its clientele.
