GROHE’s GIVE Program Launches in Egypt

GROHE, a prominent brand under the umbrella of LIXIL, a leading global entity for comprehensive bathroom solutions and kitchen fittings, has unveiled the debut of the GROHE Installer Vocational Training and Education (GIVE) Program in partnership with the AMAR School for Technology in Cairo, Egypt, Invest-Gate reports.

The GIVE Program is designed to equip young installers with a firm footing for a successful career kickstart.

The GIVE Program by GROHE was set in motion to counter the shortage of proficient professionals in the plumbing and sanitary sector. This step aligns with the Egyptian government’s objective to establish 100 vocational schools by 2030.

Currently, the GIVE Program collaborates with more than 70 training schools in the EMENA (Europe, Middle East, and North Africa) region, offering a state-of-the-art framework for training.

Moreover, the positive impact of the GIVE Program has touched the lives of over 3,000 students aged between 18 and 25 across various regions, including Morocco, Pakistan, Nigeria, Ghana, Europe, and, most recently, Saudi Arabia.

The GIVE Program offers aspiring young professionals training and mentorship in plumbing and sanitary work, laying a robust foundation for their future careers.

Furthermore, beyond just a training program, GIVE also aids educational institutions in establishing a standardized approach, furnishing modern equipment, training materials, and written examinations that set new benchmarks in the industry. This holistic approach guarantees that students benefit from practical education, offering them a solid grounding for a promising future in the sector.

Upon completing the GIVE Program, students will receive a recognized international certificate and support for job placements or the opportunity to partake in a work experience program at one of GROHE’s industry partners.

Mohamad Ataya, Leader, North Africa, LIXIL, EMENA, expressed, “As an industry leader in the sanitary domain and a significant contributor to the Egyptian market, the GIVE Program holds a pivotal role in our endeavors to bolster the Egyptian market and advocate sustainable practices.”
