Assem El-Gazzar, the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, along with Major General Khaled Fouda, the Governor of South Sinai, conducted a meeting to discuss joint projects in the governorate, Invest-Gate reports.

The projects encompass areas such as housing, drinking water, sanitation, and various development initiatives implemented by the Ministry of Housing in South Sinai. Ministry and governorate officials were also present at the meeting.

El-Gazzar highlighted that the meeting focused on reviewing the status of ongoing projects being implemented by the Ministry of Housing and coordinating efforts in South Sinai. The Ministry and its affiliated entities are dedicating their utmost efforts to implement various service and development projects for the people in the governorate.

Fouda presented the governorate’s requirements in different sectors, including housing, where various housing units are being constructed to meet the citizens’ needs. Additionally, the governorate emphasized the importance of drinking water and sanitation projects, among other fields.

He expressed gratitude to the Minister of Housing, the ministry’s officials, and its affiliated entities for their continuous support and commitment to various areas of development.

El-Gazzar revealed that the Central Reconstruction Agency, which operates under the Ministry, is currently undertaking 41 projects in South Sinai Governorate during the fiscal year 2023/2024. The total investment for these projects amounts to approximately EGP 11 bn.
