Egypt will hold the 4th International Conference on Sustainable Construction and Project Management from 13 to 15 December, under the patronage of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, Invest-Gate reports.
Titled “Making Cities Green, Smart, and Resilient,” the event will take place at the Housing and Building National Research Center (HBRC) in Dokki, Cairo, according to Minister of Housing Assem El-Gazzar.
Head of HBRC Mohamed Masoud said sessions will cover enhancing sustainability, smart city strategies; flexible, healthy neighborhoods; green construction; smart, flexible green transit; and green investment.
Other topics include resilience, digital twins, sustainable energy and water management, construction management, and best practices, he added.
Masoud stated that the public lectures will provide local and international case studies on smart city implementation as wel as green financing mechanisms and environmental community design, noting that sustainable and flexible infrastructure, challenges and opportunities, and digital transformation in facilities management will also be addressed.
The top official stated that the conference aims to drive collaboration across construction, management, engineering, architecture and urban planning stakeholders.
