The Agency for Housing Supply and Real Estate Development at the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing has unveiled the initiation of the “Ajwad” initiative for 74 housing projects, Invest-Gate reports.
The aim is to assess sustainability and issue a “Sustainable” certificate, contributing to elevating the quality of housing products and providing an advanced residential environment.
Moreover, the agency highlighted that this initiative is a collaboration with the Quality of Life program to support and incentivize real estate developers, ensuring the enhancement of project quality.
Furthermore, the Sustainable certificate, awarded to residential and commercial communities and buildings based on sustainability classifications through the “Ajwad” initiative, aligns with the ministry’s efforts to promote its contribution to the Vision 2030 program.
Also, in collaboration with the Quality of Life program, the initiative encourages real estate developers to adopt quality and sustainability standards in their projects.
Notably, this facilitates advanced infrastructure for beneficiaries, contributing to the urban landscape in Saudi cities, including sustainability standards, quality of life, green spaces, and reducing energy and water consumption.
