The Smart Villages Development & Management Company (SVC) has partnered with the Egyptian Ministry of Environment to enhance air quality monitoring at the Smart Village business park, Invest-Gate reports.
The collaboration involves the deployment of a mobile air monitoring laboratory unit (MAML) within the premises.
Moreover, the MAML’s role is crucial in collecting and analyzing data to assess air purity levels and compare them against local and international standards.
Furthermore, this initiative aims to establish benchmarks for environmental indicators related to air quality, utilizing 120 monitoring stations nationwide along with two mobile laboratories.
Louaye Al Mamlouk, SVC’s Vice President of Operation and Facilities, emphasized the company’s commitment to maintaining the highest international standards in project management. Regular tests are conducted in open and green spaces within Smart Village to ensure adherence to sustainable environmental requirements.
Also, Al Mamlouk highlighted Smart Village’s strategic location in Western Cairo, away from urban congestion, which offers a pollution-free work environment.
With over 80% of the park covered in lush green spaces, Smart Village is a pioneering development in Egypt, accommodating multinational corporations, local businesses, governmental bodies, financial authorities, regulators, and educational institutions.
Notably, this partnership underscores SVC’s dedication to providing an optimal working environment for businesses, entrepreneurs, and employees within Smart Village, ensuring a high quality of life and work standards.
