Real Estate Transactions in Qatar Decline by 31% in March

The value of real estate transactions in Qatar has witnessed a 30.57% annual decline in March 2024, according to the monthly bulletin issued by the Ministry of Justice on Thursday, Invest-Gate reports.

The recorded value of real estate transactions in Qatar last month stood at QAR965.51 mn, compared to QAR1.39 bn riyals in February 2024.

Doha Municipality led in terms of transaction value with approximately QAR324.46 mn, while Al Shahaniya Municipality recorded the lowest transaction value at QAR14.26 mn

Among the 268 properties sold in the past month, Doha and Al Rayyan municipalities executed the highest number of deals, each with 60 transactions.

March 2024 witnessed a total of 220 mortgage transactions, amounting to QAR5.87 bn, with Al Wakra recording the highest number of transactions at around 119.
