El-Gazzar: Handover of R3 Residential Units Begins for State Employees Moving to New Administrative Capital

Assem El-Gazzar, the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced that the New Administrative Capital Development Authority has begun welcoming state employees allocated residential units in the third residential district (R3) of the New Administrative Capital, Invest-Gate reports.

These employees, who have completed their required payments, are now starting to receive their designated units.

El-Gazzar highlighted that this initiative, which is a testament to your importance in our state, follows the directives of the political leadership to finalize the allocation and handover of residential units in the third residential district for the employees transitioning to the New Administrative Capital. The aim is to expedite the allocation process, encouraging stability and enhancing work efficiency.

Sherif El Sherbini, Head of the New Administrative Capital Authority, stated that around 4,000 residential units had been allocated in the first, second, and eighth neighborhoods of the R3 district. Depending on the employee’s preference, these units vary from 126 sqm to 173 sqm.

El Sherbini explained that the handover process is ongoing. It begins with issuing a letter from the Housing and Development Bank to the New Administrative Capital Authority and completing all necessary procedures.

The officials are committed to facilitating the handover process by automating all steps, which include verifying bank letters, ensuring payment of 25% of the unit’s value, and submitting requests for utility installations (water, electricity, gas). After paying the required fees, employees can then inspect and receive their units.

The third residential district in the New Administrative Capital, a vibrant and promising hub, spans approximately 1,000 feddans and includes over 24,000 residential units of various levels.
