Assem El-Gazzar, the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has been monitoring the progress of the units under the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” in the cities of New Mallawi, New Minya, Capital Gardens, 15th of May, and 6th of October, Invest-Gate reports.
This is being done through periodic reports and inspection tours of the project sites.
El-Gazzar highlighted that the initiative, launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, aims to provide suitable and affordable housing for citizens across different income segments, whether in new cities or governorates.
The initiative focuses on three income segments: the limited income or low-income axis, the middle-income axis, and the above-average or distinguished axis.
Additionally, it includes plans to offer suitable job opportunities and services in the areas where the units are being implemented, aiming to create integrated and planned urban communities.
El-Gazzar emphasized the importance of increasing labor and equipment at the various project sites within the initiative. This will help accelerate work on utility and road projects, as well as implement service projects concurrently with the unit construction. The goal is to deliver the units to their beneficiaries with complete facilities and services.
