Schneider Electric Senior Executives Visit Tatweer Misr’s IL Monte Galala Project

Tatweer Misr’s flagship project, IL Monte Galala, has recently welcomed a distinguished senior executive delegation from Schneider Electric, a global powerhouse, Invest-Gate reports.

This visit showcased the fruitful partnership between the two companies, which has spanned over five years. The collaboration has focused on integrating Schneider Electric’s state-of-the-art technology solutions for infrastructure development, management, and operation. It serves as a shining example of successful cooperation in the private sector and highlights the potential for creating future-ready cities.

The Schneider Electric delegation included Manish Pant, Executive Vice President of International Operations; Walid Sheta, Regional President for the Middle East and Africa; and Sebastian Riez, CEO for Northeast Africa and the Levant. They received a warm welcome from Baher Ayoub, Senior Vice President of Projects and Board Member of Tatweer Misr, along with other senior executives from the company.

Dr. Ahmed Shalaby, President & CEO of Tatweer Misr, expressed his satisfaction with Schneider Electric’s senior executive delegation’s keenness to visit IL Monte Galala. He emphasized that the visit showcased the first success story between the two companies in the field of sustainable and smart cities within the Egyptian market and the region as a whole.

Shalaby highlighted the joint vision of the two companies in accelerating the transition to sustainable and smart cities, focusing on water and energy efficiency, carbon emission reduction, and overall urban, social, and environmental sustainability.

Shalaby further explained that the integrated technology solutions being implemented in the project enable efficient resource management, contributing to over 50% energy efficiency improvement. This, in turn, results in approximately 40% long-term savings in operational expenses such as energy and water bills.

Manish Pant, Executive Vice President of International Operations at Schneider Electric, expressed the company’s commitment to enhancing its presence and partnerships within the Egyptian market. He emphasized Egypt’s strategic location and significant growth potential, positioning it as a key market for Schneider Electric.

Pant highlighted the surge in the adoption of EcoStruxure and AVEVA solutions in the local real estate sector, underscoring the benefits of smart buildings and cities in advancing Egypt’s real estate market competitiveness on a local, regional, and global scale. He praised the successful integration of smart solutions across Tatweer Misr’s project portfolio, which has enhanced operational efficiency, reduced energy and water consumption, and contributed to carbon emission reduction.
