Housing Ministry Offers 1,450 Units in 6 New Cities in Tenth Supplementary Phase of “Beit Al Watan” Project

Sherif El Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has announced the launch of the tenth supplementary phase of the “Beit Al Watan” project tailored for Egyptians abroad, Invest-Gate reports.

The project’s website is currently undergoing updates to feature 1,450 housing units strategically located in New Cairo, 6th of October City, New Damietta, October Gardens, Sadat, and New Minya.

This initiative underscores the ministry’s commitment to facilitating home ownership for a larger segment of Egyptian expatriates, reflecting the project’s substantial success since its inception in 2012.

Walid Abbas, Assistant Minister of Housing at the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), emphasized that priority in allocation will be given to individuals who sent full remittances but were not accommodated in the previous phase.

Allocation will be based on the remittance priority as outlined by the Central Bank of Egypt. Each remittance will secure one housing unit, with additional remittances being recorded according to the Central Bank’s established sequence.

Abbas further clarified that participants in the tenth phase can finalize down payment requirements for reserving a new housing unit, ensuring that the completion process is limited to one unit reservation. The priority level of the original remittance amount will be maintained for this additional transaction.

Notably, requests to alter confirmed reservations from previous periods to access newly added housing units will not be entertained. Nor will transfers between reservations, additional sums beyond the down payment, or modifications to confirmed reservations be permitted after confirmation on the site.
