El Batal Developments has engaged JLL, a global professional services firm specializing in real estate, investment management, and development consultancy, to oversee property management duties for Rock Gold Mall, the inaugural gold and beauty mall in the Fifth Settlement of New Cairo, Invest-Gate reports.

The agreement was formalized by Eng. Emad Doss, CEO of El Batal Developments, and Ayman Sami, JLL’s Country Head for Egypt, in the presence of Eng. George Alfred, a member of El Batal’s Board of Directors; Dr. Samir Benani, Head of the Commercial Sector; Nermeen Fares, Marketing Manager at El Batal Developments; Mohamed Gamal, Director of Real Estate Asset Management for JLL in Egypt; and Ahmed Nashat, JLL’s Operations Manager in Egypt.

Emad Doss highlighted that this collaboration mirrors El Batal’s overarching strategy to enhance management standards across its commercial ventures, enrich visitor experiences, and amplify returns for unit owners, thereby boosting their investment worth. Under this partnership, JLL will oversee the development and management of various commercial malls established by El Batal Developments in strategic locations, with Rock Gold Mall in the Fifth Settlement standing out as the flagship project.

As per the agreement, JLL will assume responsibility for the day-to-day operations of Rock Gold Mall, in addition to offering an array of integrated services encompassing security, cleaning, maintenance, and marketing operations. Officials anticipate that JLL’s wealth of experience in managing commercial malls will notably enhance the service quality of El Batal Developments’ projects, bolstering their appeal and investment value as premier commercial and investment hubs.

Ayman Sami, JLL’s Country Head in Egypt, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are thrilled to enter into this agreement with El Batal Developments and are committed to leveraging our mall management expertise to ensure the success of these projects and satisfy both customers and investors.”
