New Cities Authorities Crack Down on Building Violations, Encroachments

City authorities in 6th of October, 10th of  Ramadan, New Damietta, and New Sohag have conducted extensive campaigns in collaboration with local police forces to remove building violations and encroachments in various areas, Invest-Gate reports.

In 6th of October City, the local authority led by Mohamed Mostafa halted and removed illegal construction activities that exceeded the allowed building area for rooftop rooms in multiple locations, including Plot 13 in the Tourist District and Plot 766 in the 2000 Plots Area. These actions were part of ongoing efforts to monitor and immediately address any violations.

In 10th of Ramadan City, Alaa Abdellah Mostafa reported that a campaign targeted the “Ebny Betak” area, resulting in the removal of unauthorized expansions on Plots 390 in Sector B and 162 in Sector Z within the 12th District.

Similarly, in New Damietta, Mohamed Khalafallah, head of the city’s development authority, oversaw multiple operations over a week. These efforts stopped illegal construction attempts, including unauthorized floor additions and the closing off of areas violating building codes. Construction equipment and materials were confiscated, and legal action was initiated against the violators.

Sherif Abd El-Badi, head of New Sohag City, reported that illegal construction was detected in the “Ebny Betak” area during routine inspections. The violation was immediately removed, and a police report was filed.

City officials affirmed their commitment to ongoing campaigns to prevent unauthorized construction and maintain the cities’ orderly and aesthetic appearance.
