INTRO Technology Partners with Sterling, Wilson to Build Kemet Data Center in Egypt’s

INTRO Technology, the tech subsidiary of INTRO Holding, has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sterling and Wilson Data Center (SWDC), a global leader in data center construction, to develop the Kemet Data Center, Invest-Gate reports.

Located in Egypt’s Suez Canal Economic Zone, this project is a step toward advancing Egypt’s digital infrastructure and positioning the country as a hub for data center and cloud services.

Moreover, the MoU designates SWDC as the project’s engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor. SWDC will manage the development process, overseeing design, budgeting, planning, and scheduling while ensuring key milestones, including Integrated System Testing and Accreditation (ISAT). The agreement also includes maintenance services for three to five years after completion.

For his part, Hatem Suliman, Vice Chairman and Group CEO of INTRO Holding expressed excitement for the collaboration, saying, “This partnership enables us to provide cutting-edge digital solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers across the Middle East and Africa, aligned with Egypt’s Vision 2030 for digital transformation.”

Furthermore, SWDC CEO Prasanna Sarambale emphasized the partnership’s alignment with Egypt’s strategic goals, stating, “We are committed to constructing Kemet Data Center to the highest international standards, supporting Egypt’s digital sector with sustainable, world-class infrastructure.”

Notably, this partnership is expected to bolster Egypt’s role in the region’s digital landscape, creating a foundation for sustainable growth in data services aligned with national development goals.
