The Housing Ministry has set a plan for developing current and new residential areas, facilities, and roads in 6th of October City, Invest-Gate reports.

The government has already carried out projects worth EGP 14.58 bn in the past two fiscal years in the city, with a plan to invest EGP 2.08 bn in 2018 according to Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Mostafa Madbouly.

A plan was set for establishing 96,720 social housing units, 9,984 units in Dar Misr medium-income housing project, and 15,024 units in the new, distinguished social housing project Sakan Misr, Head of the 6th of October City Council Essam Badawy says in a statement.
