Melee has announced the launch of Equine, Egypt’s first company dedicated solely to equestrian sports across all disciplines, Invest-Gate reports.
This marks a significant addition to Melee’s portfolio of real estate, hospitality, education, and sports ventures.
Equine will offer a full suite of services for equestrian sports, including training and rehabilitation programs tailored for all skill levels, from beginners to professionals. The company will also provide comprehensive horse welfare services, covering veterinary care, nutrition, and sports club management.
Moreover, Equine will host local and international equestrian competitions and introduce community awareness programs to promote equestrian sports.
“Our journey begins with a well-structured plan to establish our presence in the Egyptian and Arab markets,” stated Gasser Bahgat, Chairman and Managing Director of Melee. “To foster genuine innovation and contribute to the local market, we have created a dedicated company for equestrian sports.”
For his part, Ali Sabbour, CEO of Equine, highlighted the company’s ambition to elevate the standards of equestrian sports in Egypt and the Arab region. “Our goal at Equine is to provide the necessary infrastructure and high-quality services to promote awareness and growth of equestrian sports,” he said. “We envision Equine as a pivotal player, ensuring Egypt remains aligned with global advancements in this field.”
Notably, as part of its expansion strategy, Melee has partnered with Adeer International, a leading Saudi company, to develop and manage social sports clubs in Saudi Arabia, bringing exclusive Egyptian expertise to Saudi society.
