Minister of Local Development Manal Awad met with Jean Pierre Elong Mbassi, Secretary-General of the United Cities and Local Governments of Africa (UCLG Africa), during the 12th World Urban Forum held in Cairo from 4-8 November, Invest-Gate reports.

The meeting focused on implementing directives to transfer Egypt’s expertise in various fields to African nations to support their goals and address shared challenges.

Mbassi congratulated Minister Awad on her recent appointment and commended the Egyptian government’s efforts in hosting a successful forum, underscoring the importance of continued collaboration for African development.
