Sherif El Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced the successful conclusion of the eighth manual public draw on the second day of housing allocations and land delivery notifications to customers who fulfilled the necessary down payments by September 5, 2024, in New Obour City, Invest-Gate reports.
El Sherbini underscored the ongoing commitment to finalize the legalization process for lands incorporated into several new cities, emphasizing the preservation of citizens’ rights, the promotion of social stability, and the adherence to legal standards to ensure the seamless progression of legalization initiatives.
These efforts align with the state’s overarching strategy to address citizens’ residential land needs and facilitate adequate housing in alignment with sustainable development objectives.
Ahmed Ismail, Head of the New Obour City Development Authority, detailed the various available plot sizes now regularized, ranging from 209 m2 to 500 m2, across different categories, to advance the legalization agenda.
Ismail highlighted the significance of the lottery in facilitating residential land access for citizens, emphasizing the meticulous efforts undertaken to guarantee the accuracy and efficiency of the legalization procedures.
He noted the team’s thorough sorting and verification process of entitlement-related data conducted in the preceding period.
