Let’s talk about that.” He acknowledged that fear is a natural feeling experienced by many when venturing into real estate but offered three straightforward pieces of advice to help combat it.

Turner’s first piece of advice was that fear often stems from the unknown. He recounted the anxiety he felt during his first driving experience, noting that, with study and practice, he became more confident behind the wheel. “Real estate is the same,” he explained. “The more you learn, the less fear you will feel. So, start studying.”

His second tip emphasized focusing on what is directly in front of you. He compared this to driving in heavy fog, where visibility is limited to just a few feet ahead. “That’s all you need,” he noted. “Concentrate on the next immediate step, whether it’s reaching out to an agent, analyzing a deal, or making an offer—just take one step at a time.”

Turner’s third suggestion was to surround yourself with individuals who are already experienced in real estate. “Do you feel anxious about running a marathon? Join a running club, and their confidence will rub off on you,” he advised.
