Edge Stone Development and Real Estate, a subsidiary of Edge Stone Group, a leader in construction, contracting, and real estate development with a rich history, has announced its expansion plans in the Egyptian market, Invest-Gate reports.
The company aims to implement a diverse range of projects, including residential, commercial, and administrative developments.
According to the group’s expansion plan, a specialized administrative project in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) and a residential project in New Obour City will be announced during the third quarter of 2025.
Additionally, the company plans to develop various projects in Alexandria Governorate, the First Settlement area, and Heliopolis, with targeted investments of EGP 25 bn in 2025.
Edge Stone Development and Real Estate is an extension of the parent company, Edge Stone Group, which is one of the most prominent Egyptian firms in contracting and construction. Founded by Eng. Zein Lamei, the group has branches in Germany, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
Tarek Zein, Vice Chairman of Edge Stone, explained that the company operates in three sectors: infrastructure, industrial construction, and urban development. In the infrastructure sector, the company has implemented 150 projects nationwide, which include roads, facilities, and initiatives supporting sustainable development.
In the industrial construction sector, the company has successfully completed 10 factories on substantial land areas in Wadi El Natrun and the 10th of Ramadan.
In the urban development sector, it has developed over 27,000 sqm with total investments of EGP 8 bn, in addition to 11 residential projects in 6th of October City, two residential compounds spanning 17 feddans in New Cairo, and an administrative headquarters in New Cairo.
Zein pointed out that the company employs more than 400 employees and 500 workers across its operations. It also owns significant and diverse assets, including a cement brick and block factory, a complete central concrete station, a fleet of vehicles for company operations, and integrated industrial workshops, among other promising areas. The company plans to launch a new project before the end of this year.
