Eng. Sherif El Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, met with officials from Big International, a leading urban development company, at the ministry’s headquarters to discuss areas of cooperation, Invest-Gate reports.
The meeting was attended by officials from both the ministry and the New Urban Communities Authority.
At the beginning of the meeting, El Sherbini welcomed the company officials. He explained that the Ministry of Housing, in coordination with various relevant authorities, fully supports the project’s partnership with the private sector, particularly regarding the localization of industries to meet the needs of the local market.
During the meeting, El Sherbini reviewed the various generations of new cities, including fourth-generation cities, most notably the New Administrative Capital, New Alamein, and New Mansoura, as well as the projects that have been and are being implemented in these cities.
For their part, the company officials expressed their satisfaction with the meeting. They presented their work experience in several cities around the world since 2015, including projects in housing, administrative buildings, towers, hotels, sports facilities, security systems, integrated urban communities, city planning, low-cost building construction, space utilization at work sites, and sustainable infrastructure.
