Vodafone Egypt has signed a strategic partnership with Q Developments to provide advanced telecommunications solutions to two of its flagship projects, Q Hills and Q North, Invest-Gate reports.
The collaboration is part of Vodafone’s broader strategy to expand its integrated “home compound” services across Egypt’s growing residential and touristic developments.
Under the agreement, Vodafone will deliver its Triple Play package, which includes high-speed internet, landline services, and digital TV, alongside smart home solutions. These offerings are designed to enhance the living experience of Q Developments’ residents by introducing cutting-edge technology into everyday life.
Smart home services provided through the partnership will enable residents to remotely control lighting, air conditioning, security systems, and electrical appliances via smartphones or voice commands. The system relies on Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, offering not just convenience, but also improved energy and water efficiency—key elements in creating a more sustainable environment.
Kareem Kamel, Head of Fixed Internet and Urban Communities at Vodafone Egypt, commented, “This partnership is an important step in our strategy to expand our services in Egypt’s new residential and coastal communities. Vodafone Egypt has become the preferred partner for major real estate developers in the market, and we continue to lead in delivering integrated ‘home compound’ services across multiple developments.”
He added, “In 2025, our goal is to capture the largest share of this fast-growing market by signing additional partnerships with top real estate firms across Egypt. We’ve already extended our reach beyond Greater Cairo to several coastal cities.”
Ahmed Thabet, Chairman of Q Developments, stated, “This partnership reflects our commitment to offering the safest and most advanced services to our clients, along with facilitating digital payment options. Providing integrated ‘home compound’ services at Q Hills and Q North aligns with our vision of building sustainable communities. These technologies will help reduce energy and water consumption, supporting environmental preservation and sustainability.”
The agreement further strengthens Vodafone Egypt’s position as a leader in Triple Play and smart home services, powered by ultra-fast fibre optic infrastructure.
