City Edge Developments Launches Maspero Metropolis Tower in Downtown Cairo

City Edge Developments has announced the launch of its latest administrative project, Maspero Metropolis Tower, located in the heart of Downtown Cairo, Invest-Gate reports.

The project forms part of the government’s ambitious plan to redevelop the historic Maspero Triangle area, which dates back to the 14th century.

Tamer Nasser, CEO of City Edge Developments, said the launch marks a significant step in transforming the Maspero Triangle into a modern business hub. “We aim to offer a futuristic vision for this historic area, turning it into a vibrant destination for work, investment, and commerce,” he stated.

Nasser noted that the project reflects the company’s commitment to addressing the evolving market needs and supporting the revitalisation of Downtown Cairo as a dynamic economic centre. “Maspero Metropolis Tower will contribute significantly to economic growth in the area and provide a flexible, innovative work environment,” he added.

The tower enjoys a strategic location with direct access to the DoubleTree by Hilton, and panoramic views of the Nile Corniche and key landmarks including the Egyptian Museum, Maspero Building, Foreign Ministry, Ramses Hilton, and the Italian Cultural Centre. It also overlooks the vital 26th of July Corridor, ensuring connectivity between East and West Cairo.

Comprising 16 floors, the tower features modern architectural design and includes four parking levels, both above and below ground. Administrative spaces range from 84 to 404 sqm, with additional retail units on the ground floor. Target tenants include banks, corporates, and international media agencies.

The building is equipped with central air conditioning, fire protection systems, smart security, and multiple high-speed elevators. Facility management will be handled by specialised service providers to ensure premium user experience.

Scheduled for delivery in 2028 alongside the hotel opening, the project supports the government’s efforts to rejuvenate historic urban zones. It is part of the larger Maspero Triangle redevelopment, which spans 77 feddans and includes 24 subplots for mixed-use developments—residential, hospitality, administrative, and commercial—offering diverse investment opportunities.
