Mazaya Construction, the construction arm of Mazaya Developments, achieved exceptional execution progress across its key projects during the second quarter of 2025, particularly within the New Capital, Invest-Gate reports.
According to CEO Eng. Ahmed Shams, the company has adopted a distinct operational philosophy centered on Lean Construction, which has driven a major shift in on-site performance. The methodology has led to a 30% reduction in material and time waste, a more than 20% increase in crew productivity, and the successful elimination of delays in critical project phases through full implementation of the Last Planner System.
Mazaya Construction is currently executing four major projects. In The Rook, all structural works are now complete, with 60% of internal blockwork finalized. The company is finalizing facade contracts with leading firms specializing in high-quality Curtain Walls and Cladding, including the integration of fire-rated systems, and has begun site preparation for electromechanical works.
At Gemini Blue, 35% of the raft foundation has been completed, and construction has commenced on the fourth basement level. Meanwhile, Gemini Red has reached 50% structural completion in just 112 working days—an impressive benchmark—alongside ongoing blockwork in its three basements.
The newest project, Norm Spaces, located in the MU23 zone on a 6,700 sqm plot, is set to become a model of modern and sustainable construction. The project will integrate dry construction methods and smart systems, aligning with global best practices in green building.
Shams also highlighted the company’s roadmap for 2025, which includes expanding into New Cairo and other key areas, alongside strategic partnerships with developers that share Mazaya’s values of quality, innovation, and long-term sustainability.
