The Arabian Research Bureau (ARB), organizer of Oman’s leading technology and innovation expo COMEX, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Unified Promotional Identity Office under the “Nazdhar” National Programme for Private Sector Development & Foreign Trade, Invest-Gate reports.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Amr Abdullah Baabood, CEO of ARB, and Dr. Fares bin Turki Al Said, Acting Director of the Unified Promotional Identity Office. The partnership will embed Oman’s national promotional identity into COMEX 2025, using innovative visual and communication elements to highlight Omani heritage within a modern, tech-driven setting.
Baabood described the initiative as a “strategic fusion of national identity and technology,” aiming to position Oman as a thriving hub for technology projects, talent, and investment. He emphasized that celebrating Omani identity is central to COMEX’s mission.
COMEX 2025, marking its 34th edition, will run from September 8–11 at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre under the patronage of the Ministry of Transport, Communications & Information Technology. The event will gather global experts and companies in artificial intelligence, smart cities, cybersecurity, and other fields, reinforcing Oman’s role as a regional innovation and investment destination.
