The New Capital welcomed Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Emirate of Sharjah and Chairman of the Judiciary Council, on an official visit to Egypt. He was accompanied by a delegation that included the Head of the Judiciary Department, the President of the Court of Cassation, and senior judicial figures from the Emirate, Invest-Gate reports.
At the Egypt Islamic Cultural Center, the delegation was received by Adnan Al Fangari, Minister of Justice; Usama Alazhary, Minister of Endowments; and Khaled Abbas, Chairman and Managing Director of the Administrative Capital for Urban Development Company.
The visit began with a tour of the Egypt Islamic Cultural Center, one of the capital’s landmark religious and cultural institutions. The center houses Egypt’s largest mosque, the Islamic Museum, a major conference venue, and the House of the Holy Quran, a globally unique architectural and spiritual landmark.
The delegation also toured the City of Arts and Culture, which features a grand opera house, a drama theater, and a music hall. Sheikh Sultan expressed admiration for the modern facilities, describing them as a blend of authenticity and innovation.
Concluding his visit, Sheikh Sultan praised Egypt’s New Capital as a model of sustainable development and a forward-looking vision, reflecting a comprehensive urban renaissance.
