Prime Minister Follows Up with Housing Minister on “Housing for All Egyptians” and “Your Home in Egypt” Initiative for Egyptians Abroad

Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly held a meeting with Eng. Sherif El-Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, to review the progress of key housing initiatives, including the presidential program “Housing for All Egyptians” and the “Your Home in Egypt” initiative designed for Egyptians living abroad. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Walid Abbas, First Deputy Chairman of the New Urban Communities Authority, along with Vice Chairmen Eng. Amin Ghoneim and Eng. Ahmed Moussa. Invest-Gate reports.

Minister El-Sherbini confirmed that preparations are underway to launch the first offering in the second phase of “Your Home in Egypt”, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates. The offering will include 1,380 residential units, available for registration between August 30 and September 4, 2025, with unit selection taking place between September 20–25, 2025.

The second phase of the initiative will feature around 3,000 residential, commercial, and administrative units across multiple projects, including Diarna, Sakan Misr, Dar Misr, Jenna, and Valley Towers in cities such as New Alamein, New Mansoura, New Damietta, New Sohag, October Gardens, and others. The program provides flexible payment plans of up to 10 years, with discounts of up to 7% to meet the needs of expatriates, reflecting directives by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to enhance services for Egyptians abroad and strengthen their ties with the homeland.

The minister also reviewed the current progress of the presidential initiative “Housing for All Egyptians”, the world’s largest social housing program for low-income citizens, which has delivered thousands of fully serviced residential units nationwide. He noted that, in response to public demand, the ministry extended the booking deadline for the “Housing for All Egyptians 7” phase until September 14, 2025, to allow more citizens to apply.

On land offerings, Eng. El-Sherbini stated that the Ministry, through the New Urban Communities Authority, is expanding the supply of residential plots across new cities to meet growing demand and enable citizens to build private homes in accordance with urban planning standards, thereby supporting broader urban development goals.
