O West, the fully integrated town by Orascom Development in West Cairo, has signed an agreement with Blue Ribbon, a leading sports club operator, to manage the O West Sports Club, which is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2025, Invest-Gate reports.
The 38-feddan club is designed as a premier sports and lifestyle hub, featuring squash, football, tennis, padel, swimming, fitness, and wellness facilities alongside family and social amenities. It aims to serve both professional athletes and families, offering one of the largest and most advanced sports complexes in West Cairo.
As part of its launch, the club will host the 2025 CIB Egyptian Open Squash Tournament from September 8 to 19, marking the second consecutive year the event is held at O West. The tournament will welcome top-ranked players from around the world, further cementing Egypt’s position as a global squash powerhouse.
Eng. Hazem Helal, CEO of O West, Makadi Heights, and Byoum, said the partnership with Blue Ribbon will elevate the new facility into a benchmark for sports and lifestyle experiences in Egypt. He added that the club will enrich residents’ lives and strengthen O West’s position as a destination for world-class events.
