Amer Holding Group (Amer Group) announced that its subsidiary, Tropi 2 for Development, has obtained a license from the General Authority for Tourism Development to launch Polotano, the latest phase of its flagship Porto Sokhna project. The expansion, with investments exceeding EGP 5 bn, will add 2,086 residential and commercial units, Invest-Gate reports.

The new phase will feature the first polo fields on the Red Sea, a horse-riding school, a water park, Egypt’s first mountain-top lazy river in Ain Sokhna, and the region’s largest spa, spanning 4,000 sqm. Porto Sokhna, launched in 2007, is one of the Group’s landmark developments, covering 2.5 mn sqm and overlooking the Red Sea from an elevation of 270 meters.

Sales for Polotano are expected to exceed EGP 8 bn, with the official launch set for Q4 2025. Revenues will be collected progressively through construction and sales, ensuring stable cash flows and long-term returns.

As one of Egypt’s pioneering integrated coastal communities, Porto Sokhna combines leisure, living, shopping, and water sports. Its amenities include Egypt’s first cable car, an amusement park, kids’ clubs, private beaches, and a large coastal shopping mall.

The launch of Polotano will coincide with a new events calendar beginning October 10, 2025, highlighted by a concert from renowned artist Tamer Hosny.
