Minister of Housing Opens 14th Edition of Cityscape Egypt with Strong Local and International Developer Participation

Eng. Sherif El Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, inaugurated the 14th edition of Cityscape Egypt today at the Egypt International Exhibition Center. Held under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the exhibition runs until September 27 and is regarded as the largest real estate platform in Egypt and the wider region, bringing together top local, regional, and international developers, Invest-Gate reports.

During his tour, El Sherbiny reviewed the latest projects on display and met with Arab developers to discuss investment opportunities and future partnerships. He emphasized that the wide participation reflects Egypt’s position as a promising real estate market, driven by unprecedented urban development under President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

The minister highlighted the government’s commitment to ensuring a safe and attractive investment environment through clear regulations, transparent land allocation, and efficient contracting processes. He noted that market stability and sustained real demand provide strong guarantees for long-term investor success.

El Sherbiny also outlined the ministry’s strategy, which focuses on diversifying housing options, expanding smart and sustainable cities, and offering land for a range of uses. He stressed that Cityscape provides a vital platform for dialogue between developers, investors, and policymakers, fostering innovation and enhancing Egypt’s role as a regional hub for real estate investment.

This year’s edition introduces a new international pavilion featuring major global developers, further reinforcing Cityscape Egypt’s standing as a regional and international landmark. Since its launch in 2012, the exhibition has become one of the most influential real estate gatherings in the region, attracting more than 80 developers each year and expanding its presence to Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Qatar.
