The curtain has fallen on the 14th edition of Cityscape 2025, held under the patronage of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, with record attendance and wide participation from leading local, regional, and international real estate developers.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Eng. Sherif El Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, and H.E. Eng. Khalid bin Ahmed Al Obaidli, Chairman of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority of the State of Qatar, marking the official opening of four days of activities from September 24–27 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC).
The exhibition was preceded by the Cityscape Summit, a high-level conference held on September 23 in the New Capital. The event reaffirmed its standing as the largest and most specialized real estate platform in Egypt and the region. More than 80 local and international developers showcased over 1,000 diverse projects, ranging from residential, commercial, administrative, and hospitality developments to smart and sustainable city projects. The exhibition attracted more than 40,000 visitors, including investors, regional and local business leaders, and individuals seeking investment opportunities or residential units.
On the third day of the exhibition, a high-level delegation visited the event, including H.E. Brigadier Abdulkarim Al-Sudais, Military Attaché at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, along with members of the Saudi Embassy.
Cityscape 2025 was distinguished by its Cityscape Talks, which brought together real estate leaders, economic experts, and investors to discuss global and regional trends such as environmental sustainability, smart cities, PropTech (property technology), and ConTech (construction technology). The sessions highlighted the dynamics of the Egyptian market, exploring promising opportunities in the New Capital, North Coast, Red Sea, and Upper Egypt, while addressing challenges related to financing, pricing, and balancing supply and demand.
This year’s edition also introduced a new international pavilion featuring global developers, further enhancing the exhibition’s international profile. Additionally, the event hosted the Egypt PropTech Challenge in partnership with 500 Global, providing startups from Egypt, the Gulf, and Africa a platform to present innovative solutions in PropTech and smart city development. The competition showcased the vital role of entrepreneurship in creating innovative tools that enhance the sustainability and efficiency of the real estate sector.
Cityscape 2025 also underscored the pivotal role of public-private partnerships in advancing urban development and transforming new cities into integrated hubs that deliver a modern, sustainable lifestyle. The event emphasized the importance of regional and international cooperation in boosting Egyptian real estate exports and enhancing the market’s attractiveness to global investors, in alignment with Egypt’s Vision 2030.
The success of Cityscape 2025 reflects Egypt’s growing strategic position as one of the most prominent real estate markets in the Middle East and Africa. It also reaffirms the sector’s ability to drive economic growth, attract investment, and shape the future of smart and sustainable cities in the region.
