Accor, a world-leading hospitality group, is reinforcing its presence in Egypt with a pipeline of 22 new hotels comprising more than 7,000 keys, directly contributing to the tourism and urban development goals of Egypt Vision 2030, Invest-Gate reports.
With 38 operating hotels (+13,000 keys) across luxury, premium, midscale, economy, and lifestyle segments with Ennismore, Egypt is one of Accor’s most strategic markets in the Middle East, Africa, and Türkiye. The Group’s nearly 45 years of presence in the country underlines its long-term commitment to Egypt’s economic transformation, tourism diversification, and urban growth.
Accor is expanding across key destinations, including Cairo, New Cairo, the New Capital, North Coast, and suburban hubs. Recent highlights include Mövenpick Cairo West, a 220-key hotel in West Cairo, and Sofitel Cairo Downtown Nile, the world’s largest Sofitel with 615 rooms, strengthening Accor’s luxury presence in the capital. The Group is also developing Swissôtel Ras El Hekma, Swissôtel Residences Ras El Hekma, and Novotel Sidi Abd El Rahman to support coastal tourism on the North Coast, alongside a growing focus on branded residences.

Accor currently operates more than 350 properties across the Middle East, Africa, and Türkiye, with plans to add over 150 new addresses by 2028, further cementing its role as a driver of the region’s hospitality growth.
