Redcon Properties, the real estate arm of REDCON, has signed an agreement with Savills Egypt to manage and operate the Golden Gate mixed-use project in New Cairo, Invest-Gate reports.
The partnership ensures long-term operations for Golden Gate in line with international best practices, reinforcing its status as one of the leading commercial and administrative destinations in Egypt. Savills will oversee all phases of operations, deploying advanced technologies such as CAFM systems, smart platforms for asset and maintenance management, and intelligent monitoring of energy and water consumption to enhance efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
Eng. Tarek ElGamal, Chairman of Redcon Properties, said the agreement will improve asset management efficiency, attract international brands, and set new standards for administrative and commercial services. Ahmad Touni, CEO of Redcon Properties, added that integrating smart solutions will optimize energy and water use while ensuring tenants and visitors receive exceptional experiences.
Catesby Langer-Paget, Head of Savills Egypt, described the collaboration as a strategic step aligned with Savills’ long-term vision for sustainable and innovative real estate management in Egypt. Corina Stamate, Head of Property Management at Savills Egypt, emphasized the role of digital technologies in delivering operational excellence and enhancing the tenant journey.
Golden Gate spans 160,000 sqm on South 90th Street, opposite the American University in Cairo, with investments exceeding EGP 35 bn. The development comprises 29 administrative and commercial buildings, featuring modern architecture designed by leading local and international firms. It is the largest project in Egypt to obtain EDGE Advanced Preliminary Certification for multiple buildings and has also achieved LEED certification.
The project integrates open street retail, premium brands, and sustainable design, aligning with Egypt’s Vision 2030 and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. With its advanced technologies and focus on resource efficiency, Golden Gate positions itself as Egypt’s largest green multi-use development and a benchmark for future urban projects.
