At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Madbouly emphasized the national significance of the Fustat Hills Park project, noting the government’s commitment to selecting the most qualified companies to manage and operate the park in line with international standards.
Eng. Khaled Seddik, Chirman of the Urban Development Fund, presented the progress of the tender process. He explained that a joint committee had held several meetings to review the legal, technical, and financial documents submitted by companies and consortia applying to manage and operate the park.
“The committee has approved the prequalification of several companies and consortia for managing and operating the Fustat Hills Park project,” Seddik said, adding that the next phase will involve receiving technical and financial bids from these qualified entities.
Seddik also revealed that preparations are underway to host a major event at the Arena located within Fustat Hills Park. He added that a Winter Festival will also be organized as part of a series of seasonal celebrations similar to the Alamein Festival held during the summer in New Alamein City.
